My Big Kuya's Upcoming Wedding

It seems like yesterday when all our worries were all about toys, candies and new clothes... Living in the provincial part of Leyte is never very easy. When you're a little bit older, you might think you are deprived of a lot of things because you're not as wealthy as the people living in the cities.

Kuya Pat as he is known to us, seemed so serious with his studies being the eldest in the family and wanting to get a little bit away from poverty. The family we belong to is never too poor or not even wealthy but still, we want to see ourselves soaring in success. For children you may see now walking 1 km from the house to their school, it may seem fun for them but actually, it's their agony. To Kuya, it was indeed a relief after graduation. Got a good job, studied again and now, about to be wed.

Although they already have a pretty baby, they'll still see themselves walking in the church aisle of Palo Cathedral Church on October 10, 2010. A triple ten date for a wedding. Good choice!
He and Ate Althea will soon face before the altar and be blessed by God with the little bride Esther Bernice...

To both of you, Congratulations and Best Wishes in Advance! I made this simple logo for you but please let me know if you have corrections or if it doesn't pass your standards.. :-D

2010: A Year of a Deeper Friendship

"We keep on shining and on smiling because we know we have each other... to lean on... to be with... to listen... laugh or cry with..."

It's a matter of keeping a heart with a "know-how" when you would want to have friends like them who keeps you get going.. who inspires you a lot and all that.

Nor, Cha, Jo, Glaiz and I went on a Christmas Break Escapade to Baybay-Maasin-Albuera-Ormoc... It was so much fun and the trip has been very much relaxing not to mention the "no sleeps" and the "no silence". We had time to chill out while i tried to get some information about the spots we visited and took some inspiration from the beautiful view to be able to write my articles..

7:00p.m, December 26, 2009. I arrived at Tugas, Baybay, Leyte from Ormoc. A day after Christmas, right? Yes! I wasn't with my family after Christmas! :-D
When i got there, my friends were already wet and wild from the beach! I felt so envious! But i told Jo anyway that we have to go to the beach by Monday.
After dinner, Niño (Jo's bf) invited us to go to a karaoke slot almost a kilometer away from where we were staying. Gosh. But it was sulit anyway! It was his treat! (Thanks Niño!)
We went home at around 2 in the morning and guess what?! We still had to go to Maasin to hike early that Sunday!!! Grabeh! As in we had to wake up at 5a.m so we could still freshen up and eat... It took us 2 hours and 15 minutes to get to Hanginan and climbed an hour to reach the top!
But guess what? It was so much fun! The view from above was very bongga!!!
The following day, we woke up with muscle pains from the hike but we just laughed it out... We went to the beach instead which was located only at the back of Jo's house!!! Imagine?!! Well... we just spent almost the whole day to bathe!!!
The meals were very sumptuous! We had what the military call, boodle fight... :-D
Around 3 in the afternoon, we settled down. Rest from picture taking and shrieking and all that. We had to prepare for the church procession and the disco right after!!!
Would you believe that we ruled the dance floor even if we were not from the place?!
Grabeh... The people even said they never thought we are teachers! Hahahaha... It was embarrassing but t'was ok lang.. They don't know us man.. :-D
Guess what time we decided to go home?! 3a.m!!! Yes, as in 3a.m! And we had to walk 3km because we had no more means of transpo...
What was the result of the night out? Oversleeping!!! We woke up at around 11 in the morning already!!! Had a boodle fight brunch, bathed at the river and what next? We went to the fortune teller!!! Very very fascinating were the words of the woman... I even recorded it! What did she say? Well, that's a secret already... Only me and my friendshipz know it... :-D

After the fortune teller thing, they conceded when i asked them that we go to Albuera to see the beautiful Christmas Lights because they had a contest per barangay for the most beautiful decorations and lights... We were like in wonderland! It was so amazing!
We had our dinner near the lighthouse where there were barbecue stalls... Of course, we had our photo shoots again. That was our last night together...

I had to encourage Glaiz and Charlyn to go with me to Ormoc... Nor was going but with her dear Michael. So together with Niño and Jo, we went to Ormoc, strolled for awhile and we took a ride home.

Every single moment spent with these friends that i have made me think that we'll have a more profound relationship this 2010... That's according my vibrations...
